Abstract:

The increasing prices of electricity are a prerequisite to seek solutions to reduce electricity consumption in all areas of economy. Methodological guidelines are presented for the study of the meteorological factors affecting the efficient use of electricity in water supply systems by employing the expert evaluation method. The stepwise regression method is used to derive models for the variation of the average values of electrical load with temperature and precipitation at a small village, a basis for creating a model for the management of a water supply system aimed at reducing its electricity consumption.
