Abstract:

In this paper we propose RF printed circuit partially combined with the inkjet-printing technology. Since the inkjet printing technology can customize circuit patterns easily, it is suitable for custom production. However, the ink for the inkjet-printing has a lower conductivity than copper foil which has been generally used for conventional printed circuits. The low conductivity causes loss in the RF circuit. In order to solve this problem, we propose RF printed circuit partially combined with the inkjet-printing technology. In the proposed method, we firstly prepare the common printed circuit boards that are produced by the conventional printing technologies such as chemical etching, and then customize them on demand by minimum inkjet-printing. This method realizes custom production of various circuits. in addition, it can reduce inkjet pattern area and loss in RF circuit.
