RICS books has recently published a new guidance note on Building Surveys of Residential Property. The content includes taking and agreeing instructions, preparing for the survey, inspection, report and action to take if the property is leasehold. Model Conditions of Engagement are also provided and the cost is £20 for RICS members. This new edition has been completely rewritten since the 1996 version.
