Ciba Specialty Chemicals has launched a new color matching solution for inks, paints and plastics. “Ciba Colibri QuickMatch Pro” is designed for matching effect shades and printing inks on metallized surfaces. “Following the success of Colibri color matching solutions, we have developed further color services that enable our customers to move into new application areas and to add value in existing ones”, says Hermann Angerer, Global Head of Ciba Specialty Chemicals' Coating Effects Segment. The new product allows matching of metallic colors and shades for inks to be printed on metallic surfaces without the use of a multi-angle spectrophotometer. Conventional shades can also be matched and Colibri QuickMatch Pro features several new elements in addition to all the advantages of the standard version.
