Abstract
ASPECTS of tribology are seen in the several automotive‐related “good ideas” recently announced by Defence Technology Enterprises Ltd, a new trading division of the Royal Armament Research and Development Establishment (RARDE). The DTE set‐up has the specific function of assisting in the transfer of spin‐off technology into industry.
