Columbia Chemical informs us that it has joined forces with Heatbath Corporation to provide superior products, technical support and value to the US zinc plating industry. In addition to sharing of marketing efforts, the new alliance allows both companies to co-operate in the areas of new product development and customer support.

Along with its Lustra Zinc plating brighteners, Duracoat conversion coatings and UniKIeen cleaners, Heatbath now offers the entire line of Columbia Chemical zinc brighteners and special additives.

Heatbath has been supplying US metal finishers for nearly 80 years, and maintains warehousing and technical sales and service representatives in all major US markets. Columbia Chemical has focused on developing and manufacturing zinc plating additives since its beginning in 1975. Both companies have extensive manufacturing and laboratory facilities, and are ISO-9002 certified.

Columbia Chemicals also reports that it is now ISO 9002 certified for the manufacture of propriety additives for the metal finishing industry worldwide.
