Observation of Stimulated Concentration Scattering in a Mixture of SF6 and He

Abstract

Stimulated Rayleigh scattering caused by concentration fluctuations in a nonabsorbing binary gaseous mixture has been observed. The experimental results are in good agreement with theoretical expectations.
