Using the CLEO II detector at CESR we have studied $D^0$ decays into final states with a ${\overline{K}}^0$ or ${\overline{K}}^{*0\mathrm{}}$, and have measured branching ratios for the decay modes $D^0\to \left(\frac{{\overline{K}}^0}{{\overline{K}}^{*0\mathrm{}}}\right){\pi }^0, \eta , {\eta }^{\prime }$. These results are compared with predictions of various charm decay models, and contributions of final-state interactions are discussed.
