Abstract
Candidates for the two-phonon quadrupole-octupole state and the two-phonon mixed-symmetry state have been identified in the isotope using the nuclear resonance fluorescence technique at the bremsstrahlung facility of the Stuttgart Dynamitron accelerator. Detailed information on energies, spins, branching ratios, and transition strengths of four new dipole excitations in have been obtained. The observed dipole excitations are nearly at the same energies as in , and the transition probabilities are comparable to those for the decay of the and the states in .
