Abstract

Lifetimes have been measured by direct timing for the 1582 keV, 32 level of K41(τ<38 ps) and the 2010 keV, 32+ level of Ca41(τ=730±18 ps). These levels are members of closely spaced parity doublets. The sensitivity of measurements to determine the parity mixing within these doublets is discussed.
