Effects of zinc substitution on the electron superconductor Nd1.85Ce0.15CuO4δ

Abstract

We report the effects of Zn substitution for Cu on the superconducting properties of the electron superconductor Nd1.85Ce0.15CuO4δ. Detailed comparisons are made to earlier work on Zn substitution effects on the single-CuO2-layer hole superconductor La1.85Sr0.15CuO4δ. Theoretical implications are discussed briefly.
