Absolute values for the reaction cross section of ${\mathrm{Li}}^7\mathrm{}(p,n)\mathrm{}{\mathrm{Be}}^7$ are given for proton energies between 1.86 Mev and 2.5 Mev. Detailed angular distributions and their analyses are presented and the use of the reaction as a variable energy neutron source is discussed.
