Mass Relation for Neutrinos

Abstract

A generalization of the well-known Georgi-Jarlskog relation (mμ/mτ)=3(ms/mb) to neutrinos is found in the context of SO(10). This new relation is (mνμ/mντ)=16(mc/mt), which is consistent with present data, assuming the Mikheyev-Smirnov-Wolfenstein solution to the solar neutrino problem.
