Effect of Lamellar Structure on Ferroelectric Switching in Poly (Vinylidene Fluoride)

Abstract

The solitary-wave model of ferroelectric switching (poling) in β-phase poly(vinylidene fluoride) is developed to allow comparison with recent measurements of the detailed time dependence of this process. This model is found to be consistent with these measurements.
