Decay of the Lowest T=2 State in Ti44

Abstract

The lowest T=2 state in Ti44 has been found in the reaction Ca40(α,γ)Ti44 at an excitation energy of 9338 ± 2 keV in Ti44. The radiative yield has been measured and the γ decay has been studied.
