Abstract

We report the results of a search for the decay B0e+e, μ+μ and e±μ based on an analysis of 78fb1 of data collected by the Belle detector at KEKB. No candidate events have been found. Upper limits on the branching fractions are calculated at the 90% confidence level: B(B0e+e)<1.9×107, B(B0μ+μ)<1.6×107, and B(B0e±μ)<1.7×107. A limit on the Pati-Salam leptoquark mass MLQ>46TeV/c2 is obtained at the 90% confidence level.
