Abstract

For a top quark of large mass certain processes, normally suppressed by the extended Glashow-Iliopoulos-Maiani mechanism, may proceed at a measurable rate. We examine the induced decays bs+γ, Bsτ+τ, and Bsγγ and the mixings of Bd (B¯d) and Bs (B¯s) mesons; the bs+γ decay and the neutral-meson mixings give sensitive tests of the top-quark mass.
