Abstract
We have calculated the field dependence of the magnetoresistance and the Hall constant for the N=2 insulating phase of the Anderson lattice Hamiltonian using a slave-boson approach. At low temperatures, the magnetoresistance is negative and its field dependence as well as that of the Hall coefficient are in qualitative agreement with the experimental results for . At high temperatures, the magnetoresistance has a small positive quadratic field dependence. We predict an almost identical value of the transverse and longitudinal magnetoresistances for this compound at low temperatures.
