In a recent paper we had used calculated total density of states to interpret photoemission spectra for ${\left(\mathrm{SN}\right)}_x$. We have now calculated photoionization-cross-section modulated total density of states using a simple model. It is found that if the calculated total density of states is modulated by photoionization-cross-section effects, the agreement between theory and experiment is substantially improved.
