Abstract
The ground state of a one-dimensional many-boson system with a repulsive -function potential is reexamined in the weak-coupling limit. It is shown that addition of the third-order variational correction to a previously obtained ground-state energy series leads to an improved agreement with the exact numerical results evaluated by Lieb and Liniger.
