Self-Organization at Nonzero Temperatures

Abstract

The effects of introducing a temperaturelike parameter in three different models of self-organized criticality are studied numerically. In the original models, the temperature is set to zero. The scaling behavior changes dramatically on the introduction of a nonzero temperature.
