Abstract
The contribution of the -parity violating minimal supersymmetric standard model at the one-loop level to the atomic electric dipole moment through , -odd electron-nucleon () interaction is calculated. We show that the current experimental data of the electric dipole moment give tighter constraints on some of the imaginary parts of -parity violating coupling than those currently known. We add also the analysis of the , -odd 4-quark interaction generated by -parity violating interactions at the one-loop level, and discuss the possibility to constrain them in future experiments.
