From topological to parametrized field theory

Abstract

We establish a tight relation between three apparently very different diffeomorphism invariant field theories: parametrized field theory, topological field theory (BF theory), and the theory resulting from setting the gravitational constant to zero in the first order formalism for general relativity. Coupling to matter fields is included.
