Role of scalar meson resonances in KL0π0γγ decay

Abstract

Corrections to KL0π0γγ decay induced by scalar meson exchange are studied within chiral perturbation theory. In spite of the poor knowledge of the scalar-meson parameters, the calculated branching ratio can be changed only up to a few percent.
