Corrections to ${\mathit{K}}_{\mathit{L}}^0$→${\mathrm{\pi }}^0$γγ decay induced by scalar meson exchange are studied within chiral perturbation theory. In spite of the poor knowledge of the scalar-meson parameters, the calculated branching ratio can be changed only up to a few percent.
