Studies were performed to determine under what conditions different Yang-Mills potentials yield the same field strengths. It is found that unless some algebraic and differential equations admit nontrivial solutions, the uniqueness of the potential is guaranteed. The uniqueness of the potentials for some known solutions is investigated.
