Abstract
Decay processes of ground and excited bottom baryons are studied in the nonrelativistic quark model with all model parameters fixed in the sector of light quarks. Using as an input the recent mass of and the theoretical masses of and , narrow decay widths are predicted for the ground-state bottom baryons and . The work predicts large decay widths, about MeV for the -type orbital excitation states of .
