Abstract
In a model that treats states in as combinations of one-particle, two-hole and three-particle, four-hole, states, we have computed Coulomb energies and hence are able to predict energies in , , and , given the energies in . Among our findings is that the first two levels of are reasonable well described in this (0 + 2) space, using only the three lowest configurations for each state.
