Abstract

Scalar field self-interaction terms are included in the framework of a relativistic σ+ω+π+ρ Hartree-Fock approach to nuclear structure. The model provides a good description of the spin-orbit interaction, total binding energies, and densities, improving previous relativistic Hartree and Hartree-Fock approximations.
