Abstract

We point out that the most commonly used version of the relativistic Faddeev equations has spurious bound-state solutions and therefore it is unsuitable for calculations in the bound-state region. We propose a way to modify these equations which would correct the problem, but which leads to the loss of the clustering property. We present numerical examples for the case of the π nn system.
