Magnetic moments of 21+ states of even-even Pd, Cd, and Ba isotopes

Abstract

The magnetic moments of 21+ states of Pd102110, Cd106116, and Ba130136 have been measured by the dynamic field technique. The resulting magnetic moments are compared to the predictions of the vibrational model and to the interacting boson model.

NUCLEAR REACTIONS Pd102110(S32, S32′) Pd102110 (21+), Cd106116(S32, S32′) Cd106116 (21+), Ba130136(S32,Ś32)Ba130136(21+) ES7280 MeV, enriched targets; measured W(θ,H,) through polarized iron; deduced g(2+1).
