Abstract
Angular distributions at a bombarding energy of 67.5 MeV were measured for the (, ), (, ), and (, ) reactions. Spectroscopic factors were obtained by comparing finite-range recoil distorted-wave Born-approximation calculations with the data. Spin assignments were made for the nucleus . The usefulness of heavy-ion induced transfer reactions in preferentially populating high spin states in the final nucleus is discussed. The distorted-wave Born-approximation predictions are shown to be in good agreement with the experimental angular distributions except in cases of poor angular momentum matching in the entrance and exit channels.
