Abstract
YPrBaCuO single crystals with = 0.1, 0.2, and 0.3 were grown by the flux method. The temperature dependence of the magnetization with the external magnetic field parallel to the axis was measured with a superconducting quantum interference device magnetometer. In the thermodynamically reversible region, the magnetization was analyzed and the various thermodynamic parameters were obtained. The upper critical field slope near the zero temperature upper critical field , and the superconducting transition temperature decreased monotonically with increasing Pr concentration. Other parameters such as the Ginzburg-Landau parameter , the penetration depth , and the coherence length increased with Pr content. The effects of Pr ion on the superconducting properties are discussed.
