Abstract

The thermodynamical properties of the antiferromagnetic, nearest-neighbor, frustrated Heisenberg spin-1/2 system on a kagomé lattice are investigated within the quantum decimation technique. Some thermodynamical functions are calculated. The specific heat exhibits a double peak. © 1996 The American Physical Society.
