Tricritical behavior of two-dimensional scalar field theories

Abstract

We compute by Monte Carlo numerical simulations the critical exponents of two-dimensional scalar field theories at the λφ6 tricritical point. The results are in agreement with the Zamolodchikov conjecture based on conformal invariance.
