Abstract

The angular distribution of the neutrons resulting from the photo-disintegration of the deuteron by the 2.51-Mev gamma-rays of Ga72 has been studied. The ratio of the magnetic to the electric cross section has been determined to be 0.61±0.04. A discussion is given of the present status of the problem.
