Abstract
We present results from a convergent B-spline R-matrix (close-coupling) with pseudo-states model for electron collisions with Ar atoms. Comparison with previous theoretical predictions for elastic scattering, excitation, and ionization shows the importance of channel coupling. Overall, we obtain excellent agreement with a number of experimental benchmark data.
