Abstract

The decays of J/Ψ → μ+μ− and J/Ψ → e+e− are studied by Monte–Carlo simulation, based on the Beijing Spectrometer (BES)III offline software system. The methods of determination of the J/Ψ event number via J/Ψ → μ+μ− and J/Ψ → e+e− are presented, respectively. These methods can be used to determine the J/Ψ event number for the coming BESIII J/Ψ data sample.
