Abstract
The extended x-rescaling model has previously shown to give a good description of the EMC effect. Here, we extend the model to describe the gluon distribution of nucleons bound in nuclei by combining with the nuclear shadowing effect due to the spatial overlap of gluons from neighbouring nucleons in the nucleus in small x region. The calculated result for GSn(x)/GC(x) is in good agreement with the experimental data of the New Muon Collaboration (NMC).
