Abstract

The author notes the possibility of nonlinear, collective transport and response mechanisms in a model superionic conductor, making use of (i) recent advances in the non-equilibrium thermodynamics for a driven system of interacting Brownian particles in a periodic potential, and (ii) evidence from recent molecular dynamics simulations for CaF2.
