Abstract

In this article, a two-element wider-band MIMO consisting of flower shaped antenna (FSA) structure is proposed. The isolated FSA resonance due to the arrangement of symmetrical of elements inter connected with ground additionally low frequency mode appear in MIMO system. Utilizing this type of mode, the flower shaped MIMO radiator operates in frequency range of 2.60–4.42 GHz (impedance bandwidth = 58.7%). The proposed two-element MIMO system occupies compact total area of 0.13λ02 and has observes that no complexity of decoupling scheme. The proposed MIMO structure have thought the band of operation satisfactory of inter-element mutual coupling (isolation) (⩾15 dB) & directional pattern with an average gain 3.8 dBi is achieved. Furthermore, mean effective gain (MEG) ratio approaches to unity and, Envelope Correlation Coefficient (ECC) is less than 0.1 are obtained in the corresponding working frequencies, confirming satisfactory diversity performance/MIMO.
