Abstract

The generator described converts an electrical waveform into a corresponding pressure wave in a liquid. It is capable of generating a pressure of 60 mmHg peak-to-peak from d.c. to 250 HZ. Reference is made to its use for testing transducer/catheter systems for measurement of cardiovascular pressures.
