Abstract
Internal conversion electrons, positons and gamma-rays from the decay of 190Au (T1/2 = 42.8±1.0 min) have been studied using a 50 cm radius ironyoke double focussing beta-ray spectrometer and a Ge(Li)-detector of 8% relative efficiency. On the basis of the measured K-conversion coefficients, multipolarities have been deduced for the majority of the transitions. The Q-value of the 190Au decay was determined to be 4 442±15 keV. The proposed decay scheme accommodates 49 transitions and tentative spin-parity assignments have been given for all the suggested 17 levels.
