Abstract

Two simple circuits of low construction cost have been developed in which the current through a platinum thermometer element (DIN 43760) depends on its resistance in such a way as to make the voltage generated across it vary linearly with temperature. The linearity over the temperature range -150 degrees C to greater than 300 degrees C is to within 0.2 degrees C.
