ABSTRACT

The strength of Ca ii N3933, the magnetic field intensity, and the brightness of 52 Her all vary periodically in a period of 3.8575 days. Narrow-band ( 10 A) photometry of the K line appears to be a very effective way to determine periods for cool Ap stars with broad lines. Key words: magnetic star-variable star-absorption-line variations
