Periodic orbits in the three-dimensional three-body problem
Abstract
The existence of a class of periodic orbits of the three-dimensional three-body problem is shown by the method of analytic continuation. In a coordinate system rotating about the total angular momentum vector such that the line of nodes is fixed in the axis, the orbit of each of the planets is symmetric with regard to two different reflections, namely, inversion in the axis and reflection in the plane perpendicular to it.
