Abstract

The previous chapters have examined the extent to which governments can promote renewed investment in nuclear power through metagovernance. This chapter offers some concluding remarks about governance theory, metagovernance and the prospects for any significant revival of nuclear power in the countries studied. We have argued that nuclear power casts light on the way governments practise governance and the extent to which they can engage in metagovernance.
