Abstract

Social media transforms personal and group interaction into value creation with the speed, scale, and economics of the Internet. Up to two-thirds of value creation comes from improving communication and collaboration between people.1 Social media nurtures a more open, non-hierarchical, and knowledge-sharing culture. It unlocks initiative, creativity, and passion for a more engaging society.
