Abstract
When reflecting on the meaning of ‘customized’ science, I get a sense of déjà vu. It seems to me that I have already seen this phenomenon in action. In fact, I find that I have studied it in great detail. My own research on the famous “nature-nurture” controversies around sociobiology and IQ research during the later part of the last century, and the so-called “Science Wars” happening toward its very end, appears to have tackled exactly this question.
