Abstract
The overall aim of this chapter is to examine the interactions between the macro level, that is the plain language ideology in the Danish state administration, and the micro level, that is a specific Danish public institution. The chapter draws on Kroskrity’s definition of language ideologies as ‘beliefs, or feelings, about languages’ (2004, p. 498).
