Abstract

The Canadian film industry is divided into two contingents, the Anglophone-Canadian and Francophone-Canadian groups. The anglophone (English-speaking) industry is often connected to that of its neighbour, the United States; the francophone industry in situated in the French-speaking Quebec province.
